Abstract The purpose of this research is to explore the possibilities using a high-frequency electromagnetic field for heating coal seams in context underground gasification. based on mathematical models that take into account physical parameters field. methodology includes calculation thermal powers, exposure duration, temperature profiles and reaction rates. results indicate significant potential seam pre-heating. This review examines the central role of hydrogen, particularly green hydrogen from renewable sources, in global search for energy solutions that are sustainable and safe by design. Using square, safety measures across value chain—production, storage, transport, utilisation—are discussed, thereby highlighting need a balanced approach to ensure efficient economy. The also underlines challenges assessments, points past incidents, argues comprehensive risk assessment uses empirical modelling, simulation-based computational fluid dynamics (CFDs) dispersion, quantitative assessments. This article addresses one of the contemporary economy’s most challenging endeavors: energy transition. Specifically, aim study was to assess effectiveness Poland’s transition process between 2004 and 2021. A comprehensive approach is employed analyze process, focusing on implementation through Energy Transition Effectiveness Index. methodology incorporates four dimensions, namely security, economic considerations, climate impact, social aspects, each characterized by 22 sub-indices. The research employs a two-tiered based multi-criteria decision making methodology. EDAS method utilized determine indices’ values, while CRITIC, equal weights, statistical variance methods Laplace’s criterion are ascertain sub-indices values dimension particularly useful for under uncertainty. Moreover, relationship these indices, Index, Gross Domestic Product explored. By evaluating from 2021 comparing results with other European Union countries, it becomes evident that varies over time. Despite encountering challenges during sector’s transformation, Poland exhibits positive progress in its efforts, outperforming certain counterparts. In pursuit of profit maximization through practices that promote sustainable development, companies increasingly use environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria to guide investment. However, there are challenges in implementing these across diverse sectors, such as the construction industry, especially emerging countries with limited related studies. This study validated ESG industry an country like Brazil, considering its relationship United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A literature review identified associated implementation, followed by development a questionnaire based on challenges. Subsequently, was administered professionals using Lawshe method. Twenty-seven were identified, which twelve validated, including lack standardized performance indicators, regulatory guidelines practices, organizational resistance, insufficient transparency non-financial indicators. provides guidance for overcoming successful adoption industry. Sustainability has been regarded as a central aspect for the short-, mid-, and long-term survival of businesses.
