Abstract As an important part of the construction industry, rural residential buildings are characterized by low energy utilization, unreasonable structure, and consumption level, so it is particularly to study carbon transformation evaluation system. In this study, coefficient variation method was used identify factors affecting low‐carbon buildings, system low‐carbonization determined Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), in a building study. The results show that “Energy utilization,” “Envelope structure,” “Economic factors” have obvious influence on carbonization with weights 36.4%, 24.5%, 19.5%, respectively. Among secondary indicators, top four weightings “clean utilization rate” (0.152), “external wall insulation system” (0.090), “window performance” (0.088), “electricity consumption” (0.084), which most critical influencing level clean buildings. Finally, based constructed system, we propose targeted solution strategies provide theoretical basis for establishing effective assessment

Territorial spatial planning serves a primary instrument for optimizing the utilization of production, living, and ecological spaces (PLEs), significantly influencing on social, economic, sustainability. The correlation aligns with objectives outlined in Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) within 2030 Agenda Development. To comprehensively grasp impact territorial SDGs, particularly how changes land use types functions shape sustainable development, our study employed data encompassing SDG scores across 31 provinces China from 2000 to 2015. Utilizing Spearman coefficients, we meticulously examined relationship between PLEs SDGs. Our findings illuminated that based function (PLEs-LF) wield more substantial influence SDGs compared those grounded proportion (PLEs-LUT). former exhibited synergistic or trade-off relationships 16 whereas latter demonstrated associations 14 underscoring importance concurrently considering both space sustainability research. Moreover, positive living social poverty reduction, health, gender equality, contrasts function, which exhibits trade-offs. economic realm manifests no significant synergy production Additionally, it is imperative not overlook preservation fostering development oceans while simultaneously terrestrial diversity. research imparts valuable insights, developing countries like China, facilitating effective implementation practices providing guidance governance planning.

Abstract Low-carbon transition stands as a vital strategy for the global community to address challenge of climate change, inevitably affecting residents’ daily lives. However, there is notable gap in quantitative analysis low-carbon transition’s impact on energy poverty developing countries, limiting policymakers’ understanding inherent mechanism and their ability take informed actions. This study investigates city pilot (LCCP) policy, China’s key initiative, quasi-natural experiment, using difference-in-differences (DID) method examine its conditions. Utilizing panel data from 4807 households CHARLS dataset, this effectively integrated household-level city-level data. Benchmark regression indicates that LCCP policy exacerbates among residents. Further reveals pivotal role infrastructure expenditure bridging nexus between poverty, providing crucial insights into potential pathways through which impacts poverty. Additionally, heterogeneity are more pronounced eastern cities, non-resource high administrative-level well communities suffering subpar governance quality. By leveraging reliable survey robust methods, not only broadens methodology studies but also offers valuable countries safeguard welfare amid transitions.

Energy poverty represents a critical challenge in Latin America today, given the social disparities region faces. In this context, study focuses on exploring effects of remittances energy 13 American countries during period 2000–2020. Panel estimations with fixed and random effects, along generalized method moments, are employed to address potential endogeneity issues. The results suggest that play significant role mitigating region, particularly rural areas. Furthermore, it is observed economic growth financial development act as mediators, allowing indirectly contribute poverty. Although inequality was examined mediator, findings does not context. It concluded an appropriate mechanism improve quality life population, their impact strengthened more robust environment.
