This study investigated the effect of co-ensiling increasing levels artichoke bracts (Cynara cardunculus L.) with berseem (Trifolium alexandrinum (100:0, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75, and 0:100, respectively) on silage quality after 0, 30, 60, 120 days. Moreover, in vitro rumen fermentation characteristics methane (CH4) ammonia (NH3-N) production were evaluated using a buffalo inoculum source. The results showed that pH concentration acetic, propionic, butyric acid, NH3-N significantly decreased (L; p < 0.01) amounts mixture. At 30 60 days ensiling, highest lactic acid was observed at intermediate proportions (p 0.01). Cumulative gas higher than silage. After 24 h incubation, value 0.05) truly dry matter, organic natural detergent fiber degradability, recorded 500 g/kg forage mixtures. As bract increased, partitioning factor ruminal declined linearly ≤ 0.05). No significant differences for total volatile fatty acids molar proportions. In summary, ratio 1:1 might be promising easy method high-quality from legume positively manipulating fermentation.

In the Yangtze River Delta region, where agricultural economy is well developed and pollution carbon emissions are significant, a regional study of AEE (Agricultural Eco-Efficiency) crucial to reducing environmental pollution, improving rationalization production layout, promoting realization low-carbon goals. The SBM-Tobit model GIS were employed analyze based on emission evaluation system in spatial temporal characteristics, as influencing factors migration path center gravity “low carbon” context. A rational plan was proposed according results. following results obtained: (1) level region high, exhibited U-shaped curve change from 2000 2020, with fluctuating decrease 2003 increase 2004 2020. development balance enhanced, while there incongruity process enhancement, high southwest low northeast; (2) generally had regionalized agglomeration low–low high–high northeast. Nonetheless, heterogeneity observed correlation, correlation weakened time variation; (3) Urbanization level, structure, crop cultivation fertilizer application intensity main region; (4) shifted under influence “low-carbon” related policies. Therefore, improvement should focus inter-regional coordination linkages, planning factors, formulation measures relevant

This study assessed the possibility of using wood as a building material for construction houses. A comprehensive method was used, which consisted analysing environmental management regulations, applying life cycle assessment to minimise carbon footprint; software calculate footprint wooden house at different stages cycle. The object is built wood. Life Cycle Assessment used methodology assessing Using One Click and Cost software, log calculated product stage mentioned above (A1-A3). When calculating wood-based materials, emissions were taken into account not only from finished products, but also all other products obtained result logging. footprint, greenhouse gas activities are estimated. We have data on cost in terms electricity use. Accordingly, we value global warming potential (A1-A3) 0.51 kg CO 2 e/kWh. diesel consumption. According results LCA, due meeting water supply/sewage needs 0.69 e/m 3 . heat supply production (A1- A3) 0.13 Based information obtained, can conclude that it advisable use material, smaller than brick building. final section presents by discount factor inflation, percentage energy costs, (displaying parameters according European certification scale). (using methodology), economic comparison (Life total costs), expert (based technical ergonomic parameters) two technologies, feasibility established. proves LCA industry.

Artichokes (Cynara scolymus L.) are valuable foods, thanks to their health benefits, but they generate significant waste during production, harvesting, and processing, which poses sustainability issues. This study applied an agroprospecting approach convert Tema artichoke biowaste (TB) into resources, starting from a global perspective of the production chain targeted applications based on chemical biological analysis. The major TB was identified in outer bracts immature flower heads, were collected throughout harvesting season, extracted, analyzed. most abundant compounds phenolic acids including chlorogenic acid caffeoylquinic derivatives. Among flavonoids, cynaroside compound. Multivariate analysis distinguished batches by collection period, explaining 77.7% variance, with increasing concentration later harvest season. Subsequently, extracts analyzed for potential wound healing anti-aging properties. Fibroblasts used assess effect selected cell migration through scratch assay cellular senescence induced etoposide. results show decrease senescence-associated β-galactosidase activity, γH2AX nuclear accumulation, both p53 p21 protein levels. Overall, this ascribes relevant anti-skin aging effects TB, thus its industrial value cosmeceutical nutraceutical applications.

The development of new urban areas necessitates building on increasingly scarce land, often overlaid weak soil layers. Furthermore, climate change has exacerbated the extent global arid lands, making it imperative to find sustainable stabilization and erosion mitigation methods. Thus, scientists have strived a plant-based biopolymer that favors several agricultural waste sources provides high strength durability for stabilization. This contribution is one first studies assessing feasibility using inulin stabilize mitigate erosion. Inulin sources, alternative traditional additives. As the climate problem becomes more serious, controlling greenhouse gas emissions has become an overarching issue facing all countries. The agriculture sector is one of main sources carbon emissions. measurement its footprint not only can quantitatively evaluate agricultural but also provide technical support for low-carbon construction. However, most reviews focus on manufacturing or international trade. Thus, this study selects and summarizes literature associated with footprint. First, paper analyzes different definitions at macroscopic microscopic levels. Then, Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats (SWOT) analysis used to summarize advantages disadvantages two accounting methods, Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) Input-Output Analysis (IOA). Third, research in concluded quantified using CiteSpace. Therefore, gives implications prospects sector. It necessary further agree definition consider other pollutants, water, energy footprints optimize management. Additionally, establishing a model line local realities will scientific developing agriculture.
