Purpose: Paper provides an overview of the methodology and diverse applications Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis MCDA.Also shows criteria analytical activities in process quantitative scientific research.An approach to selecting company's operating strategy its strategic position relation environment which it operates is presented.A model consumer behavior was assessed.Design/methodology/approach: It insights into weighting criteria, aggregating preferences, sensitivity analysis.During analysis activities, a broad literature review used, comparing most popular effective methods operation.Findings: Verification problems multi-criteria selection are problem practical identification elements actual market equivalent theoretical categories.It also necessary verify regularities occurring these behaviors by confronting them with consumers determining compliance this course.Practical implications: can be used directly solving various decision-making contexts work related organizing objects or building ranking.As MCDA continues evolve research landscape, remains central facilitating informed decisions, accommodating trade-offs between strengthening rigour analysis.Originality/value: The article defines important enterprises, conditioned external rules; highlights real-world solving.

Multi-criteria methods are highly attractive tools to address the inherent complexity of evaluating problems in various scientific areas. The combination such as Delphi/AHP is emerging a robust alternative evaluate sustainability renewable energy sources. In this theoretical-descriptive research, use Delphi method proposed select criteria and sub-criteria obtain high level reliability, while AHP used establish an order preference among alternatives analyzed. This process requires support committee experts, whose role identify biomass that can be sugar industry, considering aspects related sustainability. selected experts have identified energy, exergy, emergetic indicators, which economic, environmental, social integrated. multi-criteria analysis shows V1 variant was most satisfactory terms sustainability, representing 45% 53% overall priorities evaluated case studies. addition, sensitivity under equal-weighted scenario for both study cases evidenced acquired highest score (38.17%) all alternatives. Variant V4 achieved second (31.79%), V2 only 29.04%, respectively. integration emerges novel tool assess different industries sector.
