A scientific understanding of the trends water-related ecosystem services (WESs) under different scenarios is crucial to improving WESs and maintaining ecological security. However, there a lack high-resolution land use simulation assessment SSP-RCP scenarios, impacts land-use change (LUC) on are not clear. This study focused Poyang Lake Basin (PYLB), utilizing PLUS model InVEST explore dynamic changes historically in future, reveal specific LUC from 2000 2020. The results demonstrated that: (1) forest increased both SSP1-2.6 SSP2-4.5 but first then decreased SSP5-8.5 scenarios; Cropland significantly construction showed an expansion trend three scenarios. (2) From 2020, only water purification capacity decreased, while rest increased. Under scenario, overall benefits PYLB were highest. (3) Between deforestation brought about greatest increase yield (+9.06 × 108 m3). most conservation loss (−18.19 Additionally, cropland reduction largest soil retention (+3.94 105 t +4.79 t) enhanced purification, opposite was true for deforestation. conclusions can provide important basis protection high-quality development PYLB.

Assessment of the spatial distribution and accessibility traditional villages is closely related to their development. However, impacts heterogeneity on remain largely unknown. A total 644 national-level in Jiangnan region were used explore impact with a geographically weighted regression (GWR) model. We found: (1) spatially, exhibit predominant aggregation pattern significant local disparities (R < 1, p 0.01), predominantly originating from Song Ming dynasties (59.21%). Their clustering shifts northeast southwest, over 70% located slopes ranging 0° 20° within 1 km water. (2) The these generally low, 85.66% being accessible 200 ~ 300 min; it decreases concentrically outwards Changzhou exhibits autocorrelation characteristics (Moran’s I > 0, Z 2.58). (3) Road network density, elevation, slope are significantly correlated (p 0.05), demonstrating pronounced effects, factors collectively explaining approximately 85% levels. These findings provide basis for comprehensive planning categorized strategies villages.

Understanding the intricate interrelationships among ecosystem services (ESs) and exploring their driving mechanisms are prerequisites for efficient management. The southwestern karst region is a typical ecologically fragile area crucial component establishing an ecological security barrier in southern China. We aimed to evaluate relationship between ESs concept of service bundles (ESBs) explore distribution interrelationships. Using methods, such as Spearman's correlation spatial autocorrelation analysis, this study focused on peak-cluster depression China analyse trade-offs synergistic effects 12 ESs. Additionally, used self-organizing map identify ESBs Random Forest model potential factors influencing patterns results indicated clustering effect ESs, whereby provisioning cultural had most significant (Moran's I > 0.8). ABSTRACT Effective management of ecosystem services (ESs) is critical for sustainable regional development. Multi‐scale ESs assessments provide valuable insights spatial management. High-quality development (HQD) and ecosystem service value (ESV) are among the most prominent topics in China today. Understanding dynamic coupling coordination relationship between HQD ESV is significant for achieving global urban sustainability goals. This study breaks traditional paradigm of economic ecological research. By measuring 292 Chinese cities from 2000 to 2021, we construct a degree (CCD) model profoundly investigate changes, coordination, underlying reasons theoretical spatiotemporal perspectives. The results indicate that: (1) has undergone phased changes shown improvement, with evident agglomeration characteristics centered around clusters. (2) distribution characteristic cities: low eastern coastal areas high inland areas, which negatively correlated GDP. (3) CCD exhibits clear trend. Spatially, relatively lower higher northeastern southwestern cities. The analysis of ecosystem service value (ESV) dynamics across space and time, along with their driving factors, is essential for informed administration policy development. Shandong Peninsula Urban Agglomeration (SPUA) an important, highly efficient eco-economic zone in China. Leveraging land use/land cover datasets covering the period 2000–2020, spatial autocorrelation geographical detector were used to examine distribution characteristics forces ESV. results indicated following: (1) From 2000 2020, ESV SPUA exhibited overall trend “increase—decrease—increase”. Cropland, forest, water bodies primary sources ESV, significant variations changes different land-use types. (2) As scale increased, level per-unit gradually decreased, no was observed at urban scale. Aksu City, located in the southern region of Xinjiang, China, holds position being fifth largest city Xinjiang. It significant ecological importance as a vital functional for management desertification China. To safeguard security Xinjiang and preserve stability it is crucial to examine relationship between service value risk, well geographical temporal changes land use characteristics City. This study examines evolutionary spatial correlation risk using City case study. The analysis based on five periods data from 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2020. revealed patterns landscape ecosystem 2000 2020 pattern index, estimation, index. In addition, explored interrelationship risk. findings indicated that: (1) Bare constituted predominant category accounting over 81% total transfer 20-year period, encompassing area 459.83 km2. (2) (ESV) experienced decline CNY 3.41 × 108 within study’s time frame, exhibiting decrease rate 6.73%. Notably, grass shrubland emerged primary contributor ESV, 33.25% total. (3) index (ERI) period 2000–2020, showed an increase interval 0.2686 0.2877. results overall condition. level was dominated by lower medium risks.
