Abstract Diabetes is a serious public health threat. Therefore, the need for supply and dispensing of diabetic drugs cannot be neglected. This study explores impacts disruption risks on pricing strategies two under three power structures, i.e., supplier–Stackelberg (SS), drugstore–Stackelberg (DRS), centralized setting (CS), in an attempt to track optimum strategies. We show how changes procurement costs likelihood alter balance between consumer surplus, profit, overall social welfare within pharmaceutical chain. CS will preferred scenarios which control over distribution highly valuable, particularly presence high disruptions, such as those that occur with specialized medications insulin analogs biologics. In addition, low moderate costs, especially generic drugs, DRS strategy dominates advocacy since drugstores can buy at competitive prices. Overall, consistently outperform SS terms surplus. However, becomes more effective where disruptions drop zero, when governments subsidize during emergencies.

Previous studies have generally concluded that public participation lacks substantive constraints and has weak environmental regulation effects. Using China’s interest litigation (EPIL), implemented in 2015, as a quasi-natural experiment to verify the effects of under judicial norms, difference-in-differences (DID) estimates this paper show industrial wastewater sulfur dioxide (SO2) emissions treated cities declined by an average 2.76 million tons 2.51 kilotons per year, respectively, which ultimately improved city’s quality. The results mechanism also EPIL was able mobilize all three parties: public, government enterprises. In context environment externality product, where interests parties are difficult coordinate, advantage overcoming conflicts interest. Our study provides quantitative justification for impact assessment contributes empirical references overcome binding defect participatory regulation.

China has invested substantial financial subsidies to promote the development of crop insurance; however, insurance demand among farmers remains notably low, resulting in significant welfare loss. Based on a field survey conducted 2021 seven major grain-producing counties Jiangsu Province, this study analyses relationship between premium subsidy rates and effects through theoretical model derivation explores impact farmer heterogeneity results. This innovatively introduces power law distribution elucidate distributional characteristics farmers’ demand, demonstrates limitations linear research, effectively analyzes China’s current policy. The results indicate that: (1) actual aligns more closely with distribution, its long-tailed refute assumption distribution; (2) there exists an inverted “U”-shaped ratio effect, excessively high produces unnecessary losses; (3) variations exist different regions, risk attitudes, cultivation scales, but range differences groups is limited.
