Traditional methods for staying warm have a negative impact on outdoor work and result in substantial resource consumption. In contrast, photothermal conversion fiber fabrics utilize solar energy to regulate the temperature, providing sustainable solution warmth. Here, porous poly(tetrafluoroethylene-co-hexafluoropropylene-co-vinylidene fluoride) (THV)/zirconium carbide (ZrC) were fabricated via one-step electrospinning process based water-vapor-induced phase separation using binary solvent system of ethyl acetate acetone. At room temperature approximately 5 °C, THV/ZrC fabric with ZrC content 0.5% can rapidly heat up 52.3 °C within 30 s under 80 mW/cm2 illumination. The excellent properties combined superhydrophobicity endowed it significant deicing capabilities. More importantly, multifunctional properties, including self-cleaning, waterproofing, breathability, flame retardancy, acid alkali resistance, ultraviolet (UV) protection, made safe comfortable wear. Additionally, its white appearance enhances aesthetic appeal.

The disintegration of crystals from bismuth dichalcogenides into Bi2O3 nanosheets stands out as a favorable methodology for the photocatalysis azo dyes and hexavalent chromium [Cr (VI)] in wastewater treatment. In this investigation, synthesis via simple sonication, utilizing N,N-dimethylformamide solvent, was explored. powder's EDX spectra indicate peaks Bi, O, C at 82.94, 10.18, 6.89%, respectively, whereas Tauc plot yields band gap 2.67 eV, its XRD pattern exhibits three distinct peaks, (120), (200), (121), suggesting monoclinic formation. obtained exhibited significant surface area, rock-like shapes composed multilayer sheets, single-crystalline attributes featuring lattice spacing 0.398 nm, an optical measuring 2.30 eV. Photocatalytic evaluations, employing methyl orange (MO) Cr (VI), unveiled noteworthy efficiencies, reaching 78.5% within 240 min 89.8% 50 under visible light, respectively. Both catalytic reactions conformed to pseudo-first-order kinetic , with constants (k) registering 0.0023 0.044 min–1 MO process involves coordinated transport electrons (e–) MO/Cr (VI) adsorbed on their surface, leading effective These findings underscore promise exfoliated adept efficient photocatalyst contaminated treatment, notable contribution advancing ecological water treatment methodologies.
