The Impact of Digital Finance on Enhancing the Spatial Effects of Heterogeneous Environmental Regulations in Supporting Agricultural Green Total Factor Productivity

Improving agricultural green total factor productivity (AGTFP) is the key to achieving sustainable development and empowering modernization. Based on panel data of 30 provincial levels in China from 2011 2021, AGTFP measured using non-expected MinDS super-efficiency—MetaFrontier Malmquist model, impact environmental regulation (ER) digital finance analyzed spatial Durbin model (SDM). The results show following: (1) ER can increase local has a positive spillover effect. Command-based highest AGTFP, followed by market-incentive public-voluntary ER.
