Phosphogypsum is a common industrial solid waste that faces the challenges of high stockpiling and low utilization rates. This study focuses on mechanical properties internal characteristics cementitious materials with phosphogypsum content. Specifically, we examined effects varying amounts ground granulated blast furnace slag (5–28%), fly ash (5–20%), hydrated lime (0.5–2%) stress–strain curve, unconfined uniaxial compressive strength, elastic modulus (E50) these materials. The test results indicate increasing content can significantly enhance phosphogypsum-based Additionally, have similar beneficial effect an appropriate amount lime. Furthermore, microscopic analysis using scanning electron microscope revealed sulfate in leads to formation calcium aluminate as main product. Concurrently, continuous reaction raw contributes strength development over time. could provide novel method for improving reusing civil engineering
