Landscape metrics can effectively quantify urban landscape dynamics and their ecological stress, but incorrect metric, scale zoning choices may lead to inaccurate result biased land use planning. This study aims explore how the affected magnitude spatial pattern of stress delineated by two related metrics- Eco-erosion index(EEI) percent built-up area (PB). The ecological security pattern plays a crucial role in maintaining ecosystem health and ensuring security. establishment of the Mudanjiang City can provide scientific basis effective support for stabilizing environment, mitigating regional human–land conflicts, rational land- use planning.
