ABSTRACT Environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors are gradually being utilized to assess organizations' long‐term success, drive capital, inform company decision‐making toward sustainable growth. Despite a few research investigations, studies on ESG still developing by using broader range of new technologies improve transparency; overcoming shortcomings that have arisen yet be examined. Industry 5.0 (I5.0) provides an effective paradigm for comprehending the significance technology in enhancing disclosure reporting. To handle critical shift wider development goals (SDGs) specifically, SDG 8 (Decent Work Economic Growth) 13 (Climate Action) within monitoring system, this digs into current reporting concerns obstacles. The study systematically reviews I5.0 literature. also carries out extensive content‐centric assessment relevant sources information mappings accomplish aims. findings reveal fundamental characteristics consistent with ESG, while may accommodate capabilities improving reliability, expanding from retrospective prospective real‐time reporting, customizing, broadening lowering costs, effectiveness. suggest must expand outside its company‐centric emphasis, altering existing accounting methods embrace requirements more appropriately. performance can improved clearer representation environmental social consequences, guiding both firms' investors' decisions (double materiality concept) towards SDGs. New or missing (M) scores revealed assist investors managers.

ABSTRACT The transition to Industry 5.0, which integrates human‐centric approaches with advanced technologies, has the potential drive circular supply chain practices, addressing critical environmental challenges such as waste reduction, resource optimization, and carbon footprint minimization. Despite its promise, impact of 5.0‐enabled practices on achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) remains underexplored in existing literature, particularly context developing countries. This research bridges this gap by examining how these can contribute specific SDGs. employs a hybrid framework that combines Spherical Fuzzy Stepwise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SF‐SWARA) Multi‐Attributive Border Approximation Area Comparison (SF‐MABAC). SF‐SWARA evaluates importance SF‐MABAC ranks SDGs influenced their implementation. Applying Indian textile industry, study identifies cradle‐to‐cradle design optimization priority practice demonstrates significant reductions generation (SDG 12.5) improvements urban sustainability through enhanced air quality management 11.6). findings highlight actionable pathways for integrating into chains, offering insights policymakers industry stakeholders aiming advance goals.

This study ranks and discusses the 7 dimensions of circular economy in context Industry 5.0 proposed by Payer et al. (2024): Energy Circularity, Circularity Inputs, Investments circularity, Establishment new businesses, Circular non-circular supply chain integration, product components, Compliance governance for circularity. The Hierarchical ordering (ranking) between these is done using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method based on opinion experts consulted (one expert each dimension). These also discussed main issues evidence within dimensions. Organizations that aim to move towards often need prioritize efforts start treating some aspects, so this ranking can be a proposal which prioritized scenario

This study investigates sustainable competitiveness in the wine industry using Romania and Portugal as comparative case studies within conceptual frameworks of Industry 5.0 Triple Bottom Line (TBL). While sustainability, robotics, performance indicators are explored directionally, core empirical contribution focuses on evaluating key metrics their impact export value. Using data from International Organisation Vine Wine (OIV) World Trade Map, we perform a one-way ANOVA to examine differences between two countries across five variables: vineyard area, production volume, grape production, consumption, The results reveal statistically significant all except with significantly outperforming exports (p < 0.001). To assess drivers performance, construct Structural Equation Model (SEM) SmartPLS. model confirms that volume domestic consumption strongest positive predictors value (loading factors 1.003 0.909, respectively), while area has minimal influence. exhibits strong fit indices (e.g., SRMR = 0.009; NFI 0.971), supporting robustness results. findings suggest internal market strength efficiency, rather than land size, critical for competitiveness. can enhance its by aligning strategies TBL principles selectively adopting technologies viticulture.

Background: Brazil’s bioethanol supply chain is vital for global energy security and climate action but remains vulnerable to disruptions, market volatility, conflicting stakeholder interests. While resilience strategies exist, they often overlook the potential of circular economy (CE) principles. Methods: This study proposes an integrated decision-support framework that combines Strategic Options Development Analysis (SODA), Composition Probabilistic Preferences (CPP), Rank-Order Centroid (ROC) method prioritize CE under uncertainty. The approach incorporates input probabilistic modeling evaluate 20 alternatives across 10 criteria. Results: analysis identified risk modeling, biogas utilization, blockchain-enabled traceability as most effective improving resilience. model demonstrated strong robustness, maintaining 95% consistency in rankings varied decision-making scenarios. Conclusions: research presents a novel, structured supporting complex decisions uncertain environments. By integrating principles group tools, offers valuable guidance policymakers industry leaders seeking build more resilient sustainable chains.
