Sustainability is under threat due to inefficient waste management. In the industrial sector, mechanisms such as value chains and producer obligations have advanced circular economy practices. However, in agroforestry open burning of remains prevalent, resulting resource loss heightened fire risks. This scenario jeopardizes environmental, social, economic pillars sustainability, underscoring need for legal frameworks ensure recovery. study proposes a regulatory framework enhance A benchmarking analysis was conducted examine recovery systems where principles are successfully implemented. Insights from these were integrated with an in-depth assessment biomass chain develop actionable measures. The proposed includes measures mandatory delivery biomass, creation aggregation centers, incentives These tailored reduce risks, improve efficiency, align stakeholders’ practices sustainability goals. Visual tools, including comparative tables diagrams, illustrate framework’s impact. highlights potential interventions promote recovery, supporting sustainable development. Future work should focus on pilot implementations validate effectiveness real-world scenarios.
