Owing to its unique blend of properties, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) has become one the most important polymers that have been used in everyday life for many years. Its short- and long-term applications span multiple key industries such as building, electrical/electronic insulation, packaging, healthcare. These produce high volumes PVC solid items require responsible management when they reach their end-of-life because are not biodegradable. Simple affordable methods diverting this waste from landfills would contribute positively towards combating environmental problems. The world is facing the issue of managing a huge amount plastic waste. To prevent uncontrolled and unproductive disposal, various valorization strategies have been developed. Recycling waste into valuable composites for construction offers promising pathway toward sustainable management. Given that industry major consumer energy natural resources, it presents key opportunity integrating recycled materials. This review examines diverse applications recycling, with particular focus on solutions, while also evaluating advantages limitations this approach. Within context, can be used as filler to replace non-renewable resources. Studies shown incorporating improves properties composites, including thermal sound insulation. In particular, thermoset exhibits desirable characteristics such rigidity, heat chemical resistance, strength durability, making suitable non-structural applications. Alternatively, melting produce binder materials combine other inorganic form building composites. Using melted thermoplastic enhances ductility, reduces water absorption, overall durability. Additionally, hot-pressing technique has more effective in addressing poor bonding issues commonly encountered conventional methods.

The utilization of plastic waste and dry leaves in bricks is a sustainable approach to reducing environmental pollution managing waste. This study aims investigate the feasibility incorporating wastes into manufacturing bricks, as well potential benefits using such bricks. involves collection leaves, sorting cleaning them before mixing with clay, sand, cement varying proportions. mixtures are then compressed molded which allowed cure being tested for their physical mechanical properties. To create soil blocks, was added molten paste along following ratios: 1.5:1.5:0.5 (plastic, soil, respectively). Results showed that inclusion brick production can lead significant improvements properties compressive strength, water absorption, durability. Furthermore, use help reduce amount environment, also provide alternative traditional finite natural resources. In conclusion, promising toward construction. Further research needed optimize proportions materials used long-term durability under different conditions.

Environmental studies have been concerned about the growth of plastic pollution in different ecosystems during last decades, trying to raise awareness current and near-long-term situation.
