Accurate
estimation
of
the
state
charge
(SOC)
is
important
for
effective
management
and
utilization
lithium-ion
battery
packs.
While
advanced
methods
present

scientific
literature
commonly
rely
on
detailed
cell
parameters
laboratory-controlled
conditions,
practical
engineering
applications
often
require
solutions
applicable
to
packs
with
unknown
or
limited
internal
characteristics.
In
this
context,
study
compares
three
different
SOC
strategies—voltage-based,
coulomb
counting,
balance
methods—implemented
an
independent
telemetry
module
(TIO)
their
performance
against
a
commercial
system
(Orion
BMS2).
Experimental
results
demonstrate
that
voltage-based
method
provides
insufficient
accuracy
due
its
inherent
sensitivity
voltage
thresholds
resistance
under
load
conditions.
Conversely,
periodic
recalibration

full
charging
cycles,
showed
significantly
improved
accuracy,
