Biochar can stabilize heavy metals in soil and inhibit their accumulation plants as a amendment. Sepiolite has also shown good effects the remediation of metal pollution. In this study, biochar, sepiolite, biochar-sepiolite combined amendments were used to evaluate cadmium (Cd) lead (Pb) by 29 corn varieties. The concentrations Cd Pb fruits lowest (Pb: 0.11 mg/kg, Cd: 0.06 mg/kg). There was significant difference (p < 0.05) roots, stems, leaves, BCF TF values varieties different, is more likely accumulate neither easily translocated fruits. combination biochar sepiolite creates an environment conducive retention root zone, effectively reducing risk contamination edible parts plants. After considering various factors, such environmental adaptability, we recommend using amendment material planting WG1790 variety. Field experiments are needed verify effects. These results provide scientific evidence new strategies for selection amendments.
