The objective of this work was to assess the impacts permanent reopening Grand-Bassam inlet on seasonal dynamics thirteen trace metals in superficial sediments area II from Ébrié system. A reduction use containing high efficient treatment anthropogenic discharges with metal content watershed ecosystem should be considered support depollution initiated inlet.

Abstract The main objective of this study was to characterize the distribution microplastics and nitrogen phosphorus forms in surface sediments Lake Luoma, where samples were collected from August 2022 March 2024 32 sampling sites. enrichment factor method pollution load index used extensively analyze environmental characterization heavy metals Luoma’s sediments. Shape differences estimate individual particle volume mass, microplastic storage calculations per sediment calculated by combining percentage each shape. results showed that average ammonia content water Luoma 346.49 mg/kg, nitrate 9.75 mg/kg. Phosphorus mostly present form iron phosphorus, with a detection rate 85.67%. Most area’s are line Ⅲ quality standard “Environmental Quality Standard for Surface Water”, but total points is more than 0.1mg/L, which serious pollution. mean abundance 5506.45±2537.21 n·m −3 , showing trend in-lake > confluent tributaries out-lake. Microplastics released into upstream flow, moved downstream, settled again.
