Abstract The large tree species Terminalia catappa is a member of the Combretaceae family and mainly found in tropical climates. They are commonly cultivated for shade because they have huge, dense foliage. Numerous polyphenols, including flavonoids, tannins, saponins, phytosterols, present leaves. In this study, green chemical method was used to extract polyphenols from dried almond were employed synthesis Cu 2 O nanoparticles as reducing agent. Abstract Synthesis of nano‐particles using various greener approaches such as the use plant extract, microbes, etc. is gaining a lot popularity in scientific community due to their advantages being cheaper protocol, reduction less hazardous chemicals, more environmentally benign method and good yield. It has been previously reported by many research groups that material provides reducing, capping well stabilizing agents brings down biological environmental risks green synthesis nano‐particles. So it was thought worthwhile synthesize copper oxide (CuO NPs) some locally available medicinal plants. Rivina humilis L. plants which are our region Vidarbha Maharashtra State, India considered be herbal for treatment respiratory‐related disorders mainly asthma cold local tribal peoples. found contains variety phytochemicals can employed nanomaterials. The newly synthesized NPs also tested potential activities against six different bacterial stains namely E. coli , P. aeruginosa S. aureus vulgaris B. subtilis typhi diffusion method. antioxidant efficacy undertaken through 1,1‐Diphenyl‐2‐picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) free radical scavenging activity.
