Over the last ten years, there has been a growing interest in metal–organic frameworks (MOFs), which are unique category of porous materials that combine organic and inorganic components. Antibiotics have recently emerged as a significant class of organic pollutants for ground and drinking water raised widespread concern due to their adverse environmental consequences.
