ABSTRACT The Bi x O y I z and CoFe 2 4 combination enhances photocatalytic degradation of tetracyclines (TCs). Three TC antibiotics including TC, oxytetracycline (OTC), chlortetracycline (CTC) with high concentration (50 mg L −1 ) were utilized as target pollutant. 5 7 I/Bi , its Z‐scheme, improves removal efficiency to 1.6 times that 1.4 . Ternary /CoFe (I/I/Co) composites further increase efficiency, I/I/Co‐2 achieving I/I‐2. improved performance is due an optimized microstructure, which promotes light absorption carrier transfer. nanoparticles on nanosheets create a double‐Z band structure, enhancing redox activity. Radical trapping experiments indicated the major active species (•O − OH h + in process I/I/Co‐2. Based their enhanced efficiencies for high‐concentration TCs, proper magnetic separation capacity, recycling performance, practical applications I/I/Co treat real wastewater might be implemented.

The Sb2WO6 photocatalyst is synthesized by introducing oxygen vacancies through acetylene annealing. number of can be adjusted varying the annealing duration.
