Abstract The stability and dissolved organic matter (DOM) characteristics of biochar have an essential effect on carbon emission migration transformation pollutants. In this work, straw coal mine waste (coal gangue)-straw co-pyrolysis were produced at 300, 450, 600 °C. effects gangue biochar's stability, structure, the components biochar-derived DOM investigated. results showed that enhanced thermal chemical by 1.16%–8.25% 39.17%–68.36%, respectively. They also promoted aromatization process when pyrolysis temperature increased from 300 to 450 content was lower than 35.79%–55.52%, indicating inhibited release DOM. Moreover, humification degree low temperatures but accelerated decomposition aromatic molecules in high temperatures. proportion low-aromatic humic-like substance 1.28% 50.87% 1.44% 88.14% with increasing temperature. Thus, a synergistic controlling biochar. three primary minerals (SiO 2 , Al O 3 Fe ) is core mechanisms impacting characteristics. CO2 capture is important in solving one of the major current environmental problems, namely global warming. Among different approaches, adsorption considered most promising and CaX zeolite materials with highest capacity. However, knowledge on mechanism its interaction still not complete which hinders further optimization. In this work we report results a combined study by in-situ FTIR spectroscopy, measurements DFT calculations. It was found that at ambient temperature initially forms linear Ca2+−OCO species which, increasing equilibrium pressure, are first converted to Ca2+(CO2)2 then Ca2+(CO2)3 species. This reason for very high capacity material. Because practical importance, effect H2O processes also studied. Water suppress but softened formation mixed ligand Ca2+(CO2)x(H2O)y complexes (x + y = 2 or 3). agreement spectroscopic it material increases rise activation up 673 K due dehydration. Without the addition of silicon and aluminum sources, a pure-phase KNaLSX zeolite was successfully synthesized from residue (lithium slag), which produced spodumene in production process lithium carbonate. The samples were characterized by an X-ray Diffractometer (XRD), Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM), Fluorescence Spectrometer (XRF), Thermogravimetric Differential Thermal Analysis (TG-DTA), Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR), N2 adsorption measurement. ion exchange capacity rate calcium magnesium ions measured as used for detergent builder, results compared with standard zeolites (KNaLSX 4A). experimental show that synthSynthesis characterization co-crystalline composite LSX/esized slag has SiO2/Al2O3 ratio 2.01 grain size 3~4 μm, is close to commercial sample 2.0. Coal gangue is a typical industrial waste, which will bring environmental challenges and resource depletion when piled up in large quantities, heavy metal pollution prominent problem. In this study, Ca3(PO4)2 calcium superphosphate fertilizer (CSF) were utilized to passivate coal at different levels, its passivation mechanism was discussed. The results show that both CSF can effectively reduce moderate or high levels of slight clean level. effect slightly better than Ca3(PO4)2. Through characterization before after simulation with Visual MINTEQ PHREEQC software, it found provide PO32-, while releases HPO3 –, ionized generate more finally forms insoluble soluble phosphate metals. Leaching experiments the treated samples contain obviously stable components, leaching risk lower untreated gangue. summary, method proves effectiveness fixing metals provides an effective for harmless treatment
