Abstract The dissemination of treated nuclear wastewater from the Fukushima Daiichi power plant into Pacific Ocean has raised profound ecological and public health concerns. This study examines sociological effects waste discharges on marine ecosystems human communities, with a particular emphasis event. Utilizing combination existing literature review secondary data analysis, this explores distribution radionuclides in settings, their accumulation food chain, societal hurdles associated risks for humans. Besides that, positive nature coefficients demonstrates that each area measured—health, environment, social, life—worsens higher volumes discharged water, highlighting importance international standards effective environmental governance controlling reducing pollutants. findings also indicate spread radionuclides, notably tritium carbon-14, presents sustained risks, exacerbated by long-term presence environment propensity to bioaccumulation. In conclude, incident starkly prolonged intricate health. Therefore, regulatory enhancements are necessary uphold strict safety ensure accountability, thereby boosting confidence conforming global best practices protection.

As a realistic decontamination strategy and an economically critical component of long-term water surveillance, detailed understanding electrocoagulation processes (ECP) for the remediation contaminants remains vital. When compared to chemical coagulation, ECP delivers greater removal capacities comparable particles does not require any additions. The EC approach generates numerous metal ions in solution by applying electrical current. resultant electro-generated coagulants comprise hydroxides (MeOH-), which function as efficient adsorbent organic pollutants (OPs) inorganic (IOPs), causing formation rise flocs onto electrolyte surface via sweep flotation. For deeper comprehension wastewater, this research critically examines existing trends. It focuses on mechanistic insights electrodes systems, addition myriad catalysts influence various operational parameters reaction mechanism. Ultimately, study builds freshly published uncover varied applications, namely strategies that integrate with treatment process. prospects are promising multifaceted owing its adaptable capabilities, integration possibilities other advantages.
