In this experiment, PAN/Fe3O4@CTAB magnetic nanofibers (average diameter of 386 nm) were prepared by electrospinning for the removal As(V) from an aqueous solution. Material characterization was analyzed using phase analysis X-ray diffraction (XRD), a Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), and thermogravimetric (TG), which demonstrated that nanoparticles successfully incorporated into fiber membrane. Batch adsorption experiments revealed process followed pseudo-second-order kinetics Langmuir isotherm models, achieving maximum capacity 138.66 mg/g, higher than unmodified PAN/Fe3O4 (93.59 mg/g). The efficiency adsorbent high (97% in 300 min) remained at 91% after five regeneration cycles (initial value 98.65%). response surface methodology (RSM) also employed to construct analyze model investigate effects three critical parameters, pH, time, concentration, on As(V). optimal conditions determined be pH 3.81, time 342 min, concentration 1.36 g/L, arsenic ion rate 98.62%. experimental results found accordance with theoretical thereby providing further evidence synthesized material is excellent treatment water pollution.
