With the increasing environmental water pollution, there is an demand for efficient and sustainable wastewater treatment technologies. Photocatalysis, as environmentally friendly oxidation technology, shows significant promise degradation mineralization of organic pollutants in wastewater. Porous structured materials have received much attention from scientists photocatalytic due to their good dispersibility high specific surface area. Based on exploration recent research papers about various porous wastewater, we summarize synthesis methods loading catalysts, explore applications treating different types pollutants, finally present challenges prospects treatment. We hope that this review will inspire more researchers focus important field.
