Abstract Zinc anodes in alkaline electrolytes undergo spontaneous passivation, severely reducing their capacity utilization and battery performance. Strategies such as fabricating zinc powder or sponge structures improve by increasing reaction surface areas but often exacerbate hydrogen evolution. Here an alternative approach is reported: shielding the with miniature Faraday cages to reduce undesirable current crowding mitigate passivation. This demonstrates interwoven layer structure of bismuth dendrites on plate (Bi@Zn), achieving near‐complete dissolution over 100 mAh cm −2 discharge capacity, even low lean where bare fails rapidly. Multi‐scale characterizations simulations reveal that (Bi) delay passivation dissipating localized electric fields, thereby suppressing Zn(OH)₄ 2 ⁻ accumulation resultant ZnO precipitation near surface. As a result, primary zinc‐air using Bi@Zn achieves full discharge, whereas at one‐tenth depth. Moreover, Bi enhances anode reversibility, shown fivefold improvement cycling stability nickel‐zinc rechargeable 10 cm⁻ 20 mA . Importantly, similar high achieved copper layers underscores effectiveness field strategy.
