Polypropylene (PP), a commonly used plastic, is for making the outer layers of surgical face mask. In 2020, around 3 billion masks were disposed into environment, causing huge threat to wildlife, aquatic life, and ecosystems. this work, we have reported sulfonation technique stabilizing their conversion carbon nanoparticles application as supercapacitor electrode. Smart Waste Management (SWM) discusses the waste management process for different types of while introducing an intelligent approach to controlling amount waste. This paper introduces SWM4.0, which applies Industry4.0 (I4.0) technologies in various related events. First, presents a systematic literature review on role I4.0 SWM activities regarding types, processes, and 5R strategies. Then, existing solutions supporting SWM4.0 are extracted develop framework exploring use technologies. includes sharing four main pillars that contribute success namely smart people, cities, enterprises, factories. Furthermore, this suggests possibility unifying extending identifying necessary links interfaces researchers. For managerial implications, identifies future strategies fulfill specific tasks foster new technological research.
