Global
warming

hypothesis

examine
relationship

carbon

emissions

Using
recently
developed
novel
dynamic
autoregressive
distributed
lag
(ARDL)
simulations
framework,
results
showed
(i)
energy
contribute
deteriorating
environmental
quality;
(ii)
while
technique
effect
(TE)
improves
quality,
scale
(SE)
largely
contributes
escalating
CO
emissions,
thus
confirming
EKC
holds;
iii)
consumption,
foreign
direct
investment,
trade
openness,
industrial
growth
escalate
but
technological
innovation
reduces
it;
iv)
energy,
innovation,
effect,
growth,
openness
Granger-cause
short,
medium,
long
run,
showing
these
variables
are
fundamental
determining
quality.
Our
empirical
findings
suggest
PPPIs
should
be
accomplished
environmentally
friendly
sectors
industries,
Africa’s
government
policymakers
take
further
initiatives
ensure
implementation
policies
enable
change
from
non-renewable
sources
renewable
ones
promote
efficiency
production
processes
curtail
country.

Financial

In
