A wide range of unregulated chemicals synthetic origin or derived from natural sources, which may be a contender for future regulations are called Emerging Contaminants (ECs). The concentration ECs ranges ng/L to μg/L, is comparatively smaller as compared other pollutants present in water and wastewater. Even though the environmental low, still possess great threat humans ecosystem. These compounds being widely studied due their potential health effects, pervasive nature, difficult degradation through conventional techniques. Pharmaceutical active (PhACs) pharmaceutical contaminants (PCs) one major groups can cause inimical effect on living organisms even at very lower concentration. don't degrade easily persistent longer periods environment stable structure. With increase demand Pharmaceuticals Personal Care Products (PPCPs), there has been sharp these bodies. This mainly inefficiency wastewater treatment plants removal PhACs. proper identification development techniques crucial recent times. review represents comprehensive summary PCs, various PCs an overview approaches systems available removal. Efficient effective methods useful completely eradicating making bodies safe use. So, investment capital time research beneficial future.

Biological conversion of organic solid wastes to stabilized matter (OM) with high plant nutrient makes composting an ideal technique for managing waste. Present review summarizes the various bins manufactured around world that are used The knowledge about indices related process has become important and wider area research in current time. therefore focuses on stability maturity lays emphasis advantages uses matured compost. Composting useful converting compost at municipal level or home. Organic such as kitchen waste like food scraps, preparation residuals, etc. garden leaves, branches trees, grass clipping, etc can easily be converted into use these bins. This helpful conservation energy natural resource, reduce air water pollution help saving landfill space.

Access to clean water is one of the most basic human needs for health and well-being it accepted as 6th goal United Nations' sustainable development goals. Emerging Contaminants from pharmaceutical compounds are main pollutants bodies all over world. Efficient treatment contaminants a challenging issue across globe these have complex chemical compositions that poisonous living beings. In addition, practices ineffective or cost prohibitive. Hence, effective removal important in enhancing access safe people This review discusses recent innovative applications nanotechnology-based adsorption techniques currently practiced process, with objective reviewing different variants nanoadsorbents utilized removing bodies. Nonadsorbents such Carbon nanotubes (CNTs), their unique features, were found comparably higher potential efficiently remove wastes audit can be implemented associated policy decisions industry shift contemporary emphasis inefficient traditional methods focus on developing cost-effective CNT treatments pollution. Implementing interventions policies will help reach SDGs betterment

Population growth and urbanization have encouraged the entire world to revamp sanitation system safely through a proper Faecal Sludge Management (FSM) value chain. (FS) is mixture of human excreta in partially digested semisolid form, mainly collected from onsite facilities usually discharged into open drains water bodies. Hence, well-planned FSM required ensure safe collection, transportation, treatment, disposal make pollution free environment. The present review paper analyzed various treatment technologies available for FS along with their end products. An overview current global situation on FSM, basic design Treatment Plant (FSTP), waste mechanism use products are also discussed. This study observed that solid portion used as manure, soil conditioner energy producer whereas liquid part purpose gardening, car-washing, road-washing.
