Arid and semi-arid regions account for about 40% of the world's land surface area, are most sensitive areas to climate change, leading a dramatic expansion arid in recent decades. Ephemeral plants crucial herbs this area very but it is still unclear which factors can determine distribution ephemeral how responds future change across globe.Understanding impact on plant sustainable biodiversity conservation.This study explored potential three types (cold desert, hot deciduous forest) global scale using MaxEnt software. We used species occurrence data 30 environmental scientific collections.Our results showed that (1) average value under receiver operating curve (AUC) each was higher than 0.95, indicating model's simulation accuracy good; (2) distributions cold desert forest were mainly determined by soil pH annual mean temperature; key factor determines precipitation driest month; (3) increased one-third scenarios; suitable Anastatica hierochuntica decreased more half scenarios, Trigonella arabica scenarios. In forests, Crocus alatavicus nearly nine-tenths Gagea filiformis 75% scenarios.The different ecosystems closely related their specific adaptation strategies. These contribute comprehensive understanding pattern some ecosystems.

Abstract Background Rodents play an important role in the life cycle of ixodid and argasid ticks, particularly as hosts larvae nymphs. The great gerbil ( Rhombomys opimus ), preferred prey item several carnivores (e.g. red fox marbled polecat), is dominant rodent species Gurbantunggut Desert northwestern China. aim this study was to investigate tick associated with different habitat gerbils, including wildlife livestock. Methods During 2018–2023, ticks were removed from 326 two foxes Vulpes vulpes three polecats Vormela peregusna 35 pastured sheep Ovis aries one long-eared desert hedgehog Hemiechinus auritus ) Desert. Ticks identified according standard morphological keys. Then, they further analyzed by molecular phylogenic methods based on mitochondrial markers, 16S rDNA cytochrome c oxidase subunit I COI genes. Results A total 889 collected, representing five species. Shallow groundwater is an important water source for Haloxylon ammodendron (H. ammodendron). The accurate estimation of evapotranspiration (ETg) from great significance the cycle and maintenance ecological stability. Microbial activity plays a crucial role in upholding the functional stability of vegetation–soil ecosystems. Nevertheless, there exists paucity studies concerning impact sand-fixing vegetation (Haloxylon ammodendron) on structure and attributes soil microbial communities.
