This study explores the economic benefits and challenges associated with biodegradable waste composting, highlighting its role in promoting sustainability through a circular economy framework. We reviewed relevant literature found 160 articles for this study, including keywords “Biodegradable waste”, “Compost production”, “Economic Potential”. Considering quality studies, we employed PRISMA technique to conduct comprehensive data synthesis evaluate 89 final review. Our findings highlight that composting offers significant advantages, reduction, cost savings management, carbon credit, source of nitrogen, job creation, reduced reliance on synthetic fertilizers. Further, it supports environmental by improving soil health, mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, reducing landfill use. However, such as high upfront costs, control, market competition chemical fertilizers remain barriers widespread adoption. The extends emphasizing integration into can foster innovation, enhance local economies, contribute climate change mitigation. Furthermore, promising pathway advancing sustainability. Future research should focus technologies, optimizing their applications, developing stronger policy frameworks ensure successful implementation practices.

The vegetable production is an important part of agriculture sector in every country. In Poland, vegetables and fruits covering the area no more than 3% agricultural land, 36% plant 14–15% whole production. study aim was to determine management possibilities selected waste from composting process. Anise is one of the plants with therapeutic potential, which classified among most important medicinal interesting biological effects. Its components could be perceived so as “natural” and “safe” alternatives to antibiotics well they are applied in different industries such food cosmetic purposes. Organic material combined with inorganic fertilizer has been shown to greatly improve g crop yield and maintain soil fertility globally. However, it remains unclear if can be sustained in the long term under application of organic fertilizers. Three long-term field trials were conducted investigate effects amendments on grain sustainable index (SYI), (SFI) nutrient balance maize-wheat cropping systems central southern China during 1991-2019. Five treatments included trials: 1) no fertilization (control); 2) balanced mineral (NPK); 3) NPK plus manure (NPKM); 4) high dose (1.5NPKM); 5) straw (NPKS). Over time, yields wheat maize showed an increasing trend all four at Yangling (YL) Zhengzhou (ZZ) locations, while they declined Qiyang (QY). The NPKM 1.5 gradually exceeded that NPKS QY site. largest SYI was recorded treatment across three sites, suggesting effectively sustainability.
