The
adsorption
capacity
of
a
biochar
(BC)
obtained
from
pine
wood
residues
was
evaluated

pharmaceuticals:
fluoxetine
(FLX)
and
sulfamethizole
(SMZ).

pollution,

wastewater
being
major
contributor.

pollutants,

medical,
agricultural,

efficient
degradation
pollutants
carcinogens
prior
to
discharge.
Commonly
used
methods
for

filtration,
adsorption,
biodegradation,
advanced
oxidation
processes,

oxidation,

others.The
sonochemical
effect
refers
the
decomposition,
reduction,

reactions
pollutant
molecules

ultrasound
