Utilising data from the Jiangsu Province manufacturing sector 2000 to 2022, this study applies entropy value method build a upgrading level indicator system three dimensions: scale, efficiency, and quality. Additionally, foreign direct investment (FDI), urbanisation rate (UR) government intervention (GI) are selected construct vector autoregressive (VAR) model empirically test dynamic influence of factors on (MU). The results indicate an overall upward trend in MU 2022. Impulse response variance decomposition analyses reveal that UR FDI negatively correlate with MU, while GI has positive effect. itself is primary contributor province's MU. contribution rates other as follows: GI;FDI;UR.

In this study, we examined the impact of digital infrastructure and financial structure on carbon emissions in high-polluted economies Asia for period 1991–2019. For empirical analysis, have applied panel ARDL-PMG quantile regression approach. The results ARDL model provided some important information. Firstly, our suggest that help reduces Asian long run. Secondly, an increase internet subscriptions improves environmental quality. Thirdly, a rise population economic development these countries positively impacts CO2 emissions. contrast, R&D has significant effect approach also complements findings model. confirm improvement However, estimates are largest from 40th to 70th quantiles almost all models. Similarly, digitalization country emissions, variables appeared be significantly negative quantiles.
