ABSTRACT This research examines the dynamic relationships between green improvisation, absorptive capacity, environmental management initiatives (EMIs), corporate social responsibility (CSR) authenticity, and their combined impact on firms' competitive advantage performance. The study empirically tested seven hypotheses, utilising structural equation modelling (SEM) via SmartPLS. Data was collected from employees of firms situated in Pakistan through a survey time span 6 months. Results indicate that improvisation significantly enhances EMIs, highlighting importance innovative adaptive approaches stewardship. Green capacity found to effectively acquire assimilate knowledge, positively influencing EMIs. Additionally, EMIs were shown strengthen CSR thereby improving mediating role authenticity confirmed, revealing its significance translating effective into tangible outcomes. Moreover, creativity moderate relationship with novel solutions enhancing effectiveness activities. These findings contribute literature by elucidating mechanisms which lead ecological benefits. provides actionable insights for aiming integrate strategies core business practices, achieving sustainable edge today's economy.

Based on employing the global super efficiency epsilon-based measure (GSE-EBM) model to evaluation green innovation (GIE) of 285 prefecture-level or above cities in China during period 2004–2018, this paper combines approaches kernel density estimation, cold hot spot analysis and standard deviation ellipse intuitively describe GIE's spatiotemporal pattern evolution features, then utilizes geographical weighted regression (GWR) explore spatial heterogeneity affecting factors. The results show that: (1) China's urban GIE displayed a fluctuating increasing trend, revealing clearly regional disparities, gradually decreased from Eastern coastal region Central, Western Northeast region. (2) difference exhibited characteristics expansion, polarization, agglomeration with center gravity shifting Southeast (3) In socio-economic factors GIE, GWR effectively identified heterogeneity, improved explanatory ability compared ordinary least squares (OLS) model. This study employs the undesirable output super-efficiency SBM-DEA model to reassess green innovation efficiency (GIE) of 30 Chinese provinces from 2011 2020. We pioneer examination public attention (PA) influence on GIE and spatial spillover effects, employing Durbin model. Additionally, a mediation model, incorporating big data technology as mediator, is adopted. Key findings are follows: 1) Significant correlations exist in PA GIE. 2) Improved one province can help enhance neighboring but cannot directly impact local 3) The positive follows an indirect path. Specifically, elevates level provinces, this technological effect significantly enhances across entire region. 4) Industrial structure research development intensity also some extent.

Abstract This study investigates the impact of corruption on green innovation, as may impede or foster innovation in developing economies due to their weak governance systems. We develop a dataset Chinese non‐financial firms listed between 2007 and 2020 apply static dynamic regression techniques. The results indicate highly significant negative association innovation. supports notion that culture reduces corporate legitimacy concerns ( institutional theory ), increases managerial rent‐seeking agency hinders thus impeding sustainable development supporting “ sand wheels ” hypothesis.
