Styrene-butadiene
(SBR)
and
acrylonitrile-butadiene
(NBR)
rubber
blends
with
tetramethyl
thiuram
disulfide
(TMTD)
monosulfide
(TMTS)
accelerators
environmentally
friendly
plasticizers,
obtained
from
PET
recycling
biobased
resources
(LA/PG/PET/EG/LA),
were
prepared.
The
mechanical
properties
of
the
products
tested
compared
those
commercial
dioctyl
terephthalate
(DOTP).
TMTS
was
prepared
by
simple
efficient
one-pot
synthesis
dimethylamine,
carbon
disulfide,
potassium
cyanide,
ammonium
chloride
as
catalysts
in
recycled
isopropanol/water
azeotrope
solvent.
In
a
comparative
study,
methoxide,
ethoxide,
iodide,
amide
ions
also
used.
two-step
reaction
mechanism
involves
oxidation

salt
dimethyldithiocarbamic
acid
to
TMTD
hydrogen

cyanide
appears
be
most
nucleophile.

Shore
hardness,
tensile
strength,
compression
test
results
vulcanized

showed
similar
for
both
accelerators,
while
somewhat
better
LA/PG/PET/EG/LA
plasticizer.

The
removal
of
the
As(V)
and
Iprodione
fungicide
onto
EGS@APTES-GT,
