The objective of this paper is to present a comprehensive review clogging that associated with reactive filters applications aimed at phosphorus removal. Reviewed studies used various inlet design strategies: water flow direction (vertical or horizontal), influent pressurization (pressurized by pumps gravity-fed overflow) and feeding distribution types (point, spraying, pipes coarse surface layers). They operational strategies including prefilters, in series, regeneration media, optimization hydraulic retention time, concealment from the air, chemical additions backwashing. This work aims to synthesize and characterize an easily recoverable magnetic composite (orange peel [OPC]) from orange (OP) apply it as effective adsorbent for the removal of industrial drug (diclofenac (DFC)) aqueous solutions in batch mode. The OP OPC characterization through various techniques including Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy coupled with energy-dispersive spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller, thermogravimetric analysis shows that has interesting physicochemical properties comparison numerous other adsorbents. DFC by is found be time-dependent, equilibrium state obtained after 90 min. Moreover, at a temperature 30 °C, adsorption capacity this material estimated 37.0 mg·g–1, which higher than In addition, thermodynamic study results indicate feasible, exothermic, spontaneous process.
