Climate change has a significant impact on water resources, making it essential to re-evaluate management strategies and incorporate climate scenarios in assessments. The Municipal Department of Aigeiros is located the northern part Greece. Water consumption high increased future temperatures projected during summer period will create pressures resources. resources study region carried out using simulations RCA4 Regional Model (RCM) driven by HadGEM-ES global model Met Office Hadley Centre (MOHC) under 3 different emission scenarios, namely RCP 2.6, 4.5 8.5. For simulation urban balance Aigeiros, Komotini, Greece assessment demand supply for three (RCP 4.5, 8.5) over 30-year period, Aquacycle software was used. data used included climatic conditions area (i.e., precipitation evapotranspiration), domestic consumption, natural spatial characteristics. results indicate that drinking likely increase coming decades (1323 m3/d 2041–2050) 8.5 (1330 compared 2020 (1320 m3/d). However, suggest an groundwater recharge future, but also potential long drought periods months scenarios. show both current situation can be reference basis recording types areas. Therefore, possible control predict how much total due consumer usage profile within household or irrigation needs green areas line with conditions, behavior technical parameters.

Opportunities arising strategy are explored, revealing benefits, opportunities, social enhancements, technological advancements. These opportunities not only mitigate change’s adverse impacts but also foster innovation, growth, community resilience. Successful can position global leaders sustainability innovation. Correlation regression analyses reveal that common positively influence while barriers exhibit counterintuitive positive relationship. However, several hinder efforts, including institutional fragmentation, resource constraints, conflicting political priorities, insufficient stakeholder engagement. This sheds light on intricate relationship between change, integration, It supports potential drive innovation navigating challenges ultimately contributing more resilient prosperous future.

Agriculture is one of the most sensitive and vulnerable activities to climate variations; change impacts crop yield, soil processes, water availability, pest dynamic. Farmers are on front lines change-induced stressors, shifts, shocks, having provide solutions as planners, performers, innovators working under challenging uncertain risk conditions. Extensive research has been carried out deepen farmers' behavior risks posed by change. However, less attention was paid irrigation district managers, even though their essential role in guaranteeing hydraulic safety, ensuring supply, on-site observers behavior. This paper seeks uncover attitudes actions districts managers towards change, ability gather significant information experiences farmers Lombardy region, Italy. Employing a mix semi-structured interviews questionnaires, exploratory approach gathered insights from 12 public tasked with governing development management region. The study reveals that cognizant shifting caused warmer temperatures extreme weather events, implementing both hard (e.g. infrastructure maintenance, storage) soft (climate services) adaptation countermeasures. Through own experiences, brought light driving factors behind willingness adopt water-saving techniques or adapt crops, despite facing obstacles financial investment, institutional support). In addition, identification tipping points related scarcity security coupled trust technological partially counteract normalization. line findings, suggestions were put forth enhance managers' adaptive capacity.
