This study investigated the effects of inoculating thermophilic and mature composts on maturity, gaseous emissions, bacterial communities during co-composting kitchen waste pig manure. Results showed that temperature peaked day 4 inoculation compost amendment, which was earlier than control treatment 8. In particular, GI inoculated higher (88.65%) other treatments (GI≤61%) 35. The addition promoted enrichment Bacillus Planifilum, accelerated organic matter degradation, enhanced maturity. Inoculation with reduced CH4 emissions by 50.66%, owing to methane-oxidizing bacteria (norank_f_Methylococcaceae). Furthermore, decreased NH3 36.16% through physical absorption microbial activity (reducing NH4+ production). amendment increased N2O denitrification nitrate reduction function.
