This article reviews biochar production and its potential applications across various sectors, including agriculture, environmental remediation, energy storage. This study investigated the effects of inoculating thermophilic and mature composts on maturity, gaseous emissions, bacterial communities during co-composting kitchen waste pig manure. Results showed that temperature peaked day 4 inoculation compost amendment, which was earlier than control treatment 8. In particular, GI inoculated higher (88.65%) other treatments (GI≤61%) 35. The addition promoted enrichment Bacillus Planifilum, accelerated organic matter degradation, enhanced maturity.
