En México, la mayoría de los municipios depositan sus residuos sólidos urbanos (RSU) en sitios no controlados o rellenos sanitarios (RS); por lo tanto, existe necesidad mejorar condiciones y conocer el impacto existente aire, agua suelo. Abstract Microwave (MW) heating has gained significant attention in food industries and biomass-to-biofuels through pyrolysis over conventional heating. However, constraints for promoting MW related to the use of different absorbers are still a major concern that needs be investigated. The present study was conducted explore performance biochar as low-cost absorber performing pyrolysis. Experiments were performed on under dosing (25 g, 37.5 50 g), power (400 W, 700 1000 W), particle sizes (6 mm, 8 10 mm). Results showed significantly impacted average rate (AHR) from 17.5 65.4 °C/min at 400 W g. AHR first increased, then no changes obtained, examined by full factorial design, with 94.6% fitting actual data predicted data. model suggested size influenced less AHR. Furthermore, microwave absorption efficiency weight loss investigated, decreased which means 17.16% achieved rather than W. Biochar estimated employing mass-balance analysis, 2–10.4% change obtained owing higher rates powers dosing.

Landfill leachates contain harmful substances viz. chemicals, heavy metals, and pathogens, that pose a threat to human health the environment. Unattended leachate can also cause ground water contamination, soil pollution air pollution. This study focuses on management of leachate, by recirculating rich, nutrient-filled fluid back into landfills, turning it bioreactor, thereby maximising performance parameters landfills favourable for electricity production waste energy plants. demonstrates sustainable alternative method utilising fluid, rather than treating using an extremely expensive treatment process. Further, experimentally investigates effect varying levels five input landfill including particle size, addition, inorganic content in waste, recirculation rate, age, each at levels, multiple Taguchi's L25 standard orthogonal array. Experimental results are analysed integrated MCDM approach i.e. MEREC-PIV statistical techniques such as analysis mean (ANOM) variance (ANOVA). The indicate optimal setting is size 9 ppm, addition 80 Ktoe, 2%, rate 250 l/day age 3 years. found be most significant parameter landfill. presents novel produce power plants which may enhance their profitability sustainability.
