This
work
aimed
at
optimizing
the
preparation
of
activated
carbon
(AC)
from
Kraft
lignin
for
adsorption
methylene
blue
(MB)
and
amoxicillin
(AMX)
water.
A
full
factorial
design
three
factors
(precursor:activating
agent
(H3PO4)
ratio,
pyrolysis
temperature,
residence
time)
two
levels
was
used
to
optimize
AC
production.
Eight
products
were
obtained
evaluated
considering
following
responses:
product
yield,
specific
surface
area
(SBET),
energy
consumption,
adsorptive
removal
contaminants
under
study.
The
produced
presented
satisfactory
SBET,
ranging
between
750
1335
m2
g−1,
efficient
MB
AMX
water,
achieving
up
99%
studied
experimental
conditions
(100
mg
L−1
solution
material
dose
1
g
L−1).
Statistical
analysis
showed
that
yield
consumption
production
influenced
by
temperature
time.
