Soil microbial inoculants are widely recognized as an environmentally friendly strategy for promoting crop growth and increasing productivity. However, research on utilizing the resources from desert biological soil crusts to enhance remains relatively unexplored. In present work, a bacterial strain designated AC1-8 with high levels of amylase, protease, cellulase activity was isolated cyanobacterial Tengger Desert identified Bacillus cereus (CGMCC 1.60196). The refinement fermentation parameters B. CGMCC 1.60196 determined that most effective medium biomass production composed 5 g/L glucose, 22 yeast extract 15 MgSO 4 , optimal culture conditions were pH 6.0, temperature 37°C, inoculation quantity 3% agitation speed 240 rpm. Furthermore, utilization has resulted in substantial improvements various maize seedlings, including shoot length, fresh dry weights, root contents chlorophyll b total chlorophyll. pronounced promotion observed at application concentration 1 × 10 9 CFU/m 2 . These results suggest novel strain, crusts, can be regarded exemplary agent improvement, capable enhancing conditions, cultivation supporting food production.
