This study explores agronomic management (AM) effects on soil parameters under diverse conditions. Investigating tillage practices (TP), nutrient (NM), crop rotation (CR), organic matter (OM), irrigation (IM), and mulching (MS), it aims to reveal impacts productivity, availability, microbial activity, overall health. Varied TP affect quality through compaction, porosity, erosion risk. Proper NM is vital for cycling, preventing imbalances acidification. CR disrupts pest cycles, reduces weed pressure, boosts recycling. OM enhances by influencing carbon, pH, fertility, water retention. Optimizing IM regulates content without inducing waterlogging. MS contributes content, retention, structure, temperature-moisture regulation, benefiting biota, aggregation, health agricultural productivity. The review emphasizes integrated nutrient, CR, management's positive impact fertility activity. Different variations production. Judicious implementation of these essential sustainable agriculture. synthesis identifies uncertainties proposes research directions optimizing productivity while ensuring environmental sustainability. Ongoing inquiry can guide a balanced approach between yields resilient stewardship future generations.

Abstract In this study, we employed two multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods, namely the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) and Analytic Hierarchic Process (AHP), determine best management choice cultivation of wheat with a regime conservation agriculture (CA) practices. By combining alternative tillage approaches, such as reduced zero tillage, quantity crop residues fertilizer application, were able develop CA The performance regimes compared conventional ones was then evaluated using conflicting parameters relating energy use, economics, agronomy, plant protection, soil science. TOPSIS assigned grade each based on how close it ideal solution far away from negative solution. However, employing AHP, determined weights main sub-parameters used study pairwise comparison. With TOPSIS, found ZERO1 (0% residue + 100% NPK) followed ZERO4 (50%residue NPK), ZERO2 (100% 50% performing tillage-based alternatives. To optimize crops under various regimes, assisted decision-makers in distinguishing effects outcome identifying potential maneuvering weak links. outcomes investigation could be improve techniques production practices upscaling among farmers.

Straw mulching in conservation tillage farmland can effectively promote land utilization and conservation. However, this farming mode, surface straw suppresses weed growth, affecting size position distribution obscuring the weeds, which hampers effective management field. Accurate identification localization, along with efficient herbicide application, are crucial for achieving precise, efficient, intelligent precision agriculture. To address these challenges, study proposes a detection model targeted spraying system. Firstly, we collected dataset of weeds straw-covered environment. Secondly, proposed an improved YOLO v5s network, incorporating Convolutional Block Attention Module (CBAM), FasterNet feature extraction loss function to optimize network structure training strategy. Thirdly, designed system by combining device. Through test experiments, results demonstrated that while exhibited 0.9% decrease average accuracy it achieved 8.46% increase speed, memory computational load reduced 50.36% 53.16%, respectively. In method 90%, target localization error within 4%, rate 86.7%, missed 6.7%, erroneous 3.3%. These confirm robustness feasibility method. This approach also promotes application deep learning algorithms directional systems.

The deteriorating soil health under continuous monoculture is commonly found across various cropping systems. This study evaluated the effects of different tillage practices (conventional and no till) species mixtures (legumes grasses) on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) community properties, nutrients, enzyme activity in a 3-year experiment. Compared with traditional tillage, number AMF no-till conditions was increased, Glomus group being dominant. Under conditions, TN (total N) AN (available contents till were significantly higher than those conventional while significant differences among other nutrients found. activities acid phosphatase (S-ACP), dehydrogenase (S-DHA), sucrose (S-SC) till, cover crop also had an exclusive advantage yield. Soil organic matter (SOM) indicated negative correlation glomalin-related protein (GRSP). increase diversity associated strongly correlated three activities, negatively all species. Tillage did not change chemistry, except for AN, high concentration led to decrease results this showed that effective measure enriching micro-organism population. Additionally, improved by mixtures, microbial crops. Different groups responded differently mixtures. Across combination hairy vetch (Vicia villosa R.) ryegrass (Lolium perenne L.) performed best.

Reducing soil tillage with the application of catch-crop green mass as a mulch is conservation practice that used in agriculture to improve ecosystem functioning. Such cultivation method enhances organic matter quantity and quality through improvement biological activity nutrient availability, while reducing disturbance. Therefore, three-year field experiment was conducted years 2017–2019 evaluate effect three methods (TMs) (conventional, CT; reduced, RT; strip tillage, ST) on microbial specific enzyme properties (microbial C N content, dehydrogenases—DHA, rate fluorescein sodium salt hydrolysis—FDAH, CMC-cellulase—Cel β-glucosidase—Glu) certain basic properties. The study performed field; it one-factor carried out randomized block design. samples were collected from upper layer five times year: April (before sowing soybean), May, June, August September soybean harvesting). or sampling dates had no significant carbon total nitrogen levels. Most C-related (the content biomass C-cycling enzymatic such Cel Glu) bioindicators (DHA activity, FDAH rate) revealed seasonal changes, whereby each variable affected different order (e.g., significantly higher than other months—22%, DHA June compared months—18%). RT increased CT ST, difference between 8 33% (with mean 18%). exception β-glucosidase determined 2019, which case (1.02 mg pNP kg−1 h−1) ST (0.705 h−1). However, explanation for phenomenon could not possibly be based available data. Our results suggested response activities toward same factor may due inherent variability associated spatial well itself changes periodic occurrence its substrates soil. Generally, reduced combined plant residues return recommended enhancing health by improving features. findings above suggest system an important component management sustainable agriculture.

Soil enzyme activities serve as the key indicators of microbial nutrient limitations. Vegetation types after farmland is returned modify both biological and abiotic properties soil, thereby impacting soil cycle stability forest ecosystems. However, limitations in degraded karst forests under different vegetation return remain unclear. Therefore, this study investigated physicochemical properties, activities, resource (grasslands (G), transitional grass–shrub (SG), shrubland (S), secondary (F)) returning on dip anti-dip slopes a trough valley. The relationships among factors influencing were analyzed to identify drivers limitation. results revealed that significantly greater than slopes. Notably, total content (36.8%) erosion slope was other These factors, especially bedrock strata type, affect activity. This confirms type enhances slopes, providing scientific basis ecosystem restoration.
