Abstract With scholars paying increasing attention to energy sustainability, integrating sustainable utilization into the energy‐related assessment framework is particularly useful for achieving SDG7. This study empirically assesses efficiency ( EE ) comprised of utilize stage and in China using a dynamic two‐stage data envelopment analysis model, its influencing factors including digital economy with fixed‐effect models. The findings reveal slight downward trend from 2011 2020, primarily due poor performance stage. subregional illustrates that clean use (CEU) more beneficial than reducing carbon emissions (CER). Dagum Gini coefficients indicate growing disparity between regions. Additionally, “U‐shaped” relationship found, but two‐thirds provinces have not yet surpassed turning point. Moreover, different degrees CEU CER will influence impact on . Environmental regulations green technology innovation play positive moderating roles relationship. recommends stimulate through higher adoption sources reduction, as well highlight value economy.

As global economic development advances, the constraints of traditional growth paradigms, particularly escalating challenge environmental pollution, have become increasingly evident. In this context, deep integration digital and real economies (IDE) has emerged as a promising approach to sustain expansion while addressing concerns. Drawing on panel data from 30 Chinese provinces throughout 2008–2022, study employs entropy weight method coupling coordination degree model quantify levels IDE pollution. A two-way fixed-effects regression framework is then applied assess relationship between pollution uncover potential mediating mechanisms. The principal findings are follows: (1) level suppressive effect with exhibiting significant regional heterogeneity. (2) facilitates optimization industrial structure (IS) reduction in energy consumption through two intermediary channels, leading marked improvement quality. (3) exhibits threshold within mechanism, its influence displaying nonlinear characteristic increasing marginal effect. These results enrich interdisciplinary nexus studies economy, offering scientific basis for policymaking contributing China’s dual-carbon objectives sustainability transition. Future research may explore differentiated impacts convergence under diverse policy regimes identify strategies maximize benefits.

Introduction With the rapid development of digital technology and its deep integration with environmental ecological fields, economy has become an effective way to guide transition cities eco-friendly model. However, empirical studies on nonlinear spatial effects between welfare performance are still insufficient. Methods Based panel data 270 prefecture-level in China from 2011 2020, this paper empirically examines impact mechanism action using econometric modeling. Results The promotion effect is characterized by “J” shape increasing marginal effect, spillover neighboring inverted “U” inhibiting first then promoting later. test shows that can enhance through incremental green technological innovation local a positive effect. have direct U influencing factor allocation efficiency energy utilization efficiency. It also U-shaped Environmental regulation moderating eco-welfare affected economy. As level rural revitalization increases, it produces inhibiting. Heterogeneity analysis reveals more significant facilitating central China. Discussion This will provide reference for synergistic optimization among regions. findings study promote accelerate realization goal “Beautiful China”.

Abstract The rapid expansion of the digital economy has garnered significant attention because its potential to drive high-quality advancement in traditional sectors, particularly manufacturing. This study examines spatial dynamics and disparities between green total factor productivity (GTFP) China’s manufacturing sector. We utilize a novel set indicators assess during Chinese provinces apply econometric models investigate influence on GTFP. main research content conclusions this are as follows. (1) By employing index system quantify economy’s level within sector across various China, utilizing it primary explanatory variable, demonstrates efficacy empirical analysis is both scientifically robust methodologically sound. (2) Using Dubin model, analyzes effects GTFP finds that dominant positive spillover effect industry nationwide. (3) results show have eastern central area, whereas negative western area. extends applicability new economic geography imperfect competition theories era, thereby contributing these academic fields. Moreover, introduces analytical framework for assessing advancement. findings provide valuable insights policy recommendations fostering development diverse regions China.

Based on the panel data of A-share listed companies China's SME Board and Science Technology Innovation from year 2011 to 2021, this article empirically examines direct effect, internal mechanism heterogeneous effects digital finance financing constraints SMEs by using a two-way fixed-effects model. Results show that can significantly alleviate through enhancing TFP, improving control mitigating agency problem. Moreover, in areas with limited traditional financial resources, weak oversight, high-tech industries, more effectively eases challenges. As development increasingly relies technology, these findings guide policy implications resolve difficulties economy.
