This study aimed to evaluate the spectroscopic properties and factors affecting adsorption of phenanthrene by humic acid molecules based on humeomics. The results showed that two water-soluble fractions can be obtained from acids humeomics: weakly bound ester strongly fractions. Both could bind produce quenching, quenched group was located around 450 nm. Adsorption with better when were 12 mg/L. binding capacity much higher than A combination protein-like acid-like content determined ability each fraction phenanthrene. These revealed small adsorbed provided a new treatment for contamination.

Actinobacteria are widely used in aerobic composting of straw waste because their good degradation effect on lignocellulose. However, there few studies the Glycomyces straw. In this study, six laboratory-scale treatments were conducted: corn with inoculation (CSI), rice (RSI), and wheat (WSI). Additionally, control groups set up for each type without inoculation: (CS), (RS), (WS). Subsequently, a series chemical analyses enzymological methods to assess effects environmental variables, enzyme activities, organic components. Also, high-throughput sequencing was employed explore microbial community composition that greatly contributed rate cellulose hemicellulose during process Finally, factors influencing WSI identified using structural equation models (SEMs). The results showed rates higher Glycomyces-inoculated treatment than non-inoculated groups. Importantly, highest, at 68.09% 66.81%, respectively. Collectively, total nitrogen structure top 30 genera contributing important WSI. This study not only provides new insights into regulation degradation, but also has great significance protection.

The use of agricultural chemicals has adversely affected soil health and the environment. Organic farming practices, particularly vermicompost (VC), are gaining attention for their potential to improve fertility crop productivity. This study investigated VC rate applications on lettuce growth, yield, fertility, nutrient dynamics, enzyme activity, biological parameters, biochemical aspects under greenhouse conditions in Samsun, Turkey during 2022–2023. Experimentally, was applied at rates V1: 1%, V2: 2%, V3: 4% w/w, with a control group without application, V0: 0% w/w. Batavia lettuce, which is sensitive environmental deficiency, subjected these treatments randomized complete block design, replicated thrice. Results showed consistent improvements plant dry weight across all treatments, 2% application (V2) yielding highest increase yield (56.43%). Soil pH varied V1 being slightly alkaline V3 showing high electrical conductivity increased nitrogen content. Phosphorus content while potassium varied, having values. activities concentrations, urease activity. The polyphenol–Maillard reaction is considered one of the important pathways in formation humic-like substances (HLSs). Glucose serves as a microbial energy source that drives humification process. However, effects changes glucose, particularly its concentration, on abiotic remain unclear. Given requires high precursor concentrations and elevated temperatures (which are not present soil), gibbsite was used catalyst to overcome energetic barriers. Catechol glycine were introduced fixed into phosphate-buffered solution containing using liquid shake-flask incubation method, while concentration glucose controlled sterile system. supernatant fluid HLS components dynamically extracted over period 360 h for analysis, thus revealing influence different pathways. results showed following: (1) addition led higher degree aromatic condensation fluid. In contrast, without (Glu0) control group any Maillard (CK group) exhibited lower degrees condensation. Although total organic C (TOC) content decreased all treatments during period, precursors effectively mitigated decreasing trend TOC content. (2) While acid (CHLA) CHLA/CFLA ratio (the fulvic-like acid) varying increases after incubation, resulted more noticeable increase CHLA compared CK group. This indicated FLA converted HLA, which humification, improving quality HLS. catechol or with 0.06 mol/L beneficial enhancing HLA humification.
