empirical
analysis

643
farmers
in
Shandong
Shaanxi
provinces,
examining
how
technologies.

regression
result
indicates
that

increase

mechanism

enhanced
promotes
through
three
pathways:
enhancing
risk
perception,
expanding
social
capital,
strengthening
effectiveness
promotion.
Heterogeneity
demonstrates

four
technologies—water-saving

impact
on
large-scale
middle-generation
farmers.

Abstract
Popularizing
low‐carbon
production
practice
(LCPP)
is
essential
for
addressing
climate
change
and
achieving
sustainable
agricultural
development.
However,
farmers'
engagement
in
such
practices
remains
suboptimal.
The
impact
of
the
Internet,
as
a
facilitative
tool
network
economy
era,
has
not
been
comprehensively
explored.
Utilizing
survey
data
from
595
grain
growers
China,
this
study
employs
Poisson
model
to
assess
direct
effect,
heterogeneity,
mechanism
Internet
use
on
LCPP
among
farmers.
First,
analysis
reveals
positive
correlation
between
LCPP;
specifically,
each
unit
increase
boosts
likelihood
engaging
by
3.6
percentage
points.
Second,
effect
more
pronounced
new‐generation
farmers,
those
large‐scale
operations,
economically
developed
villages.
Third,
enhances
improving
capital
endowment,
including
cultural,
social,
economic
capital.
Consequently,
government
should
enhance
rural
information
infrastructure
provide
training
help
farmers

LCPP.

Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs),

study
examines
role

digitalization
in
promoting
sustainable

development

environmental
challenges
intensify,
promoting
green
agricultural
production
technologies
(GAPTs)
that
balance
ecological
and
economic
benefits
at
the
farmer
level
has
become
a
crucial
pathway
to
achieving
sustainable
development.

achieve

goal,
study
uses
an
Ordered
Probit
model,
which
empirically
tests
impact
mechanisms
of
digital
supply
marketing
(DSM)
participation
on
farmers’
adoption
GAPTs,
based
micro-survey
1272
farmers
from
Shaanxi
Province,
Gansu
Ningxia
Hui
Autonomous
Region
in
China.

findings
reveal
