The Power of Collaboration: How Does Green Innovation Network Affect Urban Green Total Factor Productivity?

Global climate change has necessitated a transition to sustainable development, prompting nations prioritize green total factor productivity (GTFP) as key indicator of economic and environmental efficiency. This study examines the role innovation network (GIN) in enhancing urban GTFP within China’s Yangtze River Delta (YRD)—a region pivotal national growth ecological sustainability. Using data from 41 cities spanning 2011 2020, we constructed GIN based on inter-city cooperative patents analyzed positions using social analysis (SNA). Urban was assessed through Super-SBM model, two-way fixed-effects panel models, along with threshold effect were applied evaluate impacts GTFP. The findings reveal that stronger significantly enhance GTFP, finance further amplifying this effect. These results provide actionable insights for policymakers developing countries, highlighting importance integrated strategies enhanced financial systems promote development.

Enhancing corporate operational resilience is a core element in responding to escalating climate change risks and achieving sustainable development. Based on dynamic capabilities theory, this paper utilizes data from A-shared listed companies between 2012 2023 explore how risk perception influences China identify the specific mechanisms underlying relationship. Can New Quality Productivity Promote the Carbon Emission Performance—Empirical Evidence from China

New quality productivity (NQP) has the possibility to enhance carbon emission performance which will fortify groundwork for long-term economic expansion even further. The research examines panel data of 30 provinces spanning years 2012 2022 an evaluation framework NQP and at provincial level. Employing fixed effect models, mediation analysis, spatial econometrics, study explores on performance, its mediating mechanisms, spillover effects. findings indicate that (1) significantly lowers emissions every unit GDP enhances result holds up when instrumental variable methods are used. (2) had a significant contribution improving via advancements in green innovation. (3) does more than directly regional performance; contrast, it additionally positively influences level adjacent regions by effect. (4) impact is particularly pronounced eastern innovative regions. On this basis, we should vigorously develop NQP, strengthen cross-regional policy coordination, promote sustainable development.
