This study investigates the potential of integrating Water Purification Plant (WPP) with Ecological Supplement (EWS) to improve urban river network water quality. The Tianjin Haihe River is used assess effects various quality improvement scenarios, focusing on three key indicators: TP, NH 3 -N and COD. Study results demonstrate that WPP significantly reduces pollution. For standards (Class V), compliance rates for COD, -N, TP increasing from 44.63%, 65.16%, 60.51% under no management 64.38%, 93.10%, 74.24%, respectively, when operates independently. integration EWS further improves compliance, reaching 79.66%, 96.92%, 98.12% in scenario 5.6 million tons treatment, 93.88%, 99.22%, 100.00% 28 EWS. result shows Scenario optimal scheme, which combines 20 EWS, a total operating cost 32.2 yuan per year.
