Abstract Background: Depression is a mental health problem often occurring in older adults. More attention has been paid to the benefits of green exercise on recent years. However, most existing studies structured adults’ depressive symptoms only encompassed one or two components (aerobic/muscular strength/balance) indoor setting. Considering advantages and high relevance between nature health, combination outdoor multicomponent (MSE) programs might be able maximize intervention effectiveness. The aim this study develop examine effect blended MSE program symptoms, physical fitness activity (PA) enjoyment Hong Kong adults with symptoms. Methods: The 16-week single-blinded randomized controlled trial (RCT) (2 sessions/week, 90 min/session) will include 129 community-dwelling aged 60 74 years old Participants three groups (IG-1: group; IG-2: an indoor-only CG: control group) using 1:1:1 allocation ratio. (aerobic + muscular strength balance) conducted IG-1 IG-2. Primary outcome Secondary outcomes salivary cortisol, fitness, enjoyment. In addition, mediating role connectedness (CN) examined reveal psychological mechanism intervention. All measured data collected at pre-intervention, post-intervention, 3-month follow up stages. Discussion: This take initiative implement catering results provide more comprehensive evidence support for non-pharmacological interventions guide future relevant public policies improvement Trial registration: prospectively registered ClinicalTrials.gov. Trial registration number NCT06190327 19 December 2023.

Sensory perception of forests is closely related to human health and well-being. Based on attention recovery theory stress relief theory, this paper investigates the influence sensory visitors’ restoration effects from a multidimensional multisensory perspective, integrating use generative large language model, regression analysis, semantic analysis. The results study show that (1) application model provides new ideas methods solve dilemma caused by traditional self-report scale measurement possible way explore research paradigm in context rapid development artificial intelligence; (2) each quantity differed, with quantities sight, hearing, touch, taste having significant positive effect effects, sense smell negative effects; (3) psychological distance partially had both proximal distal were significantly correlated intermediate but was not significant; (4) dimension has integration synergistic senses are enhanced, cross-perception at social level; (5) elements National Forest Parks mainly natural attributes, “people” also play an important role effects. This useful complement forest perception, same time reference value for exploring management recreation experience marketing practices.

The main aim of this review is to compare whether natural sounds or a quiet environment more beneficial for alleviating stress. results showed that there statistically significant difference between exposure and in terms their effect on heart rate (p = 0.006), blood pressure 0.001), respiratory 0.032). However, no was found MAP 0.407), perceived stress, SPO2 0.251). Although the evidence slightly inconsistent, overall, were stress reduction than environments.
