How education from children influences parents' green travel behavior? The mediating role of environmental protection commitment

The transmission of green ideas within families is no longer limited to the older generations instilling into younger generations. Younger are increasingly influencing travel behavior with their ideas. This study was based on social learning theory and reverse socialization proposed concept "trans-education." “I'm worried, but”: Unpacking the gap between environmental concern and pro‐environmental behavior

Abstract Today's youth are growing up in a world threatened by climate change. Facing an uncertain future, young people—and especially adolescents—tend to be concerned about change, even more so than other age groups. How can socializing agents (e.g., educators, policymakers, clinicians) support and engage adolescents as they come of warming world? In this article, we review studies on change development from the perspective self‐determination theory (SDT).
