Many companies are using smart packaging to provide consumers with more information about their products. The goal of our case study is access the Near Field Communication (NFC) tag knowledge, as well getting insights into positioning in food package design for better visibility order develop some guidelines future implementations. A preliminary survey professionals provided an overview NFC usage, followed by online that assessed knowledge and placements. These findings were further discussed focus groups measured eye-tracking technology.
