Abstract The conversion of lignin into aviation fuel offers a promising, energy‐efficient route for sustainable jet production. key to this transformation lies in the selective hydrogenation lignin's aromatic rings, deoxygenation its oxygen‐containing and phenolic hydroxyl groups, cleavage bonds between polycyclic hydrocarbons. Using phosphorus‐doped CoMn‐P catalyst, electrochemical lignin, assisted by light, can reduce energy consumption ≈20%, resulting significant yield hydrocarbons cycloalkanes. Phosphorus doping modulates catalyst's electronic structure, enhancing adsorption β─O─4 bonds, methoxy thereby enabling with low reaction barrier. This approach provides an innovative pathway directly converting hydrocarbon mixtures suitable fuel.

Abstract Developing a Pd‐based catalyst possessing high efficiency and low mass loading remains big obstacle for the large‐scale application of electrocatalytic hydrodechlorination (EHDC) chlorophenols (CPs). Herein, dispersion Pd nanoparticles imbedded in 2+ hydroxide species are decorated on surface F−Co(OH) 2 nanowire arrays with newly developed electrodeposition hydrolysis coupled process. EHDC 2,4‐dichlorophenol (2,4‐DCP) as‐obtained Pd/F−Co(OH) /NF‐a exhibits superior performance than other control samples this work literature reports. A 100 % removal 2,4‐DCP is accomplished within 120 min, featuring fast reaction kinetics (kobs=5.0×10 −2 min −1 ) activity (MA=22.2 g Pd). Mechanism investigation shows that intentionally introduced sites play pivotal role adsorption 2,4‐DCP, while facilitates generation active H*, thus promoting catalytic performance. This presents valuable example designing high‐performance catalysts by composition tuning.
