Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is a thermoplastic widely utilized in civilian-, defense-, and medicine-related applications. Therefore, inducing antibacterial properties an additional asset when infection control prioritized. To counter this, PMMA was mixed, for the first time, with agents (antibacterial blend nanopowder, AP) to curb bacterial proliferation therefore reduce chances of infection. The reinforcing efficacy also assessed. Nanocomposites were developed various nanopowder concentrations 3D printing material extrusion (MEX). PMMA/AP nanocomposites evaluated their mechanical rheological properties, thermal stability, morphological, structural, chemical characteristics, resistance (against Staphylococcus aureus Escherichia coli (E. Coli) using well diffusion method). effect on quality metrics, such as geometrical accuracy pores 3D-printed structure examined micro-computed tomography. modified had improved increased tensile (~20% increase at 2 wt.%) flexural strength (~10.8% 4 wt.%), while having strong against mild E. Coli. Such improvements add expanding portfolio biomaterials, use demanding defense sector medical field.
